First there was a poster...

Then there was High Octane, the precursor to MMC. High Octane was an a cappella group formed in 1999 that disbanded shortly after due to differences in beliefs.

On the "eighth day" of 2000 Much More Chill was created, and so was controversy. Many questioned the style of MMC at first, but as we sang more, the crowds grew, and so did the love (because that's what we do best....sing songs and make love). Eventually life took some dudes down different "life paths", i.e., it took them away from the chillness in their lives, away from the love of the "mother ice cube."

Now the brotherhood of Much More Chill grows every year, more ice to chill with. We now see Much More Chill as we know it today.
